Jean D. Harrell

April 30, 1926 - September 5, 2018

Jean D. Harrell, 92, of Chaffee passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on April 30, 1926 in Chaffee to the late Frank and Pearl Moore. She married Rev. Watis Harrell on July 17, 1952 and he preceded her in death on June 4, 2014.

Jean was a retired machine operator for Chaffee Shoe Company. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Chaffee. She was a member of Chaffee Order of Eastern Star #48.

She is survived by a son, Fred (Pam) Harrell of Jackson; four daughters, Velma Wachter of St. Clair, Missouri; June Simmons of Chaffee; Rosetta Kinder of Scott City; Sandra (Fred) Mauer of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four sisters and two step-sons.

Friends may call after 11:00 am until time of service on Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday at the Chapel with Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
