Donna Jean Gilliland

February 22, 1947 - September 24, 2018

Donna Jean Gilliland, 71, of Morley passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at Southeast Health in Cape Girardeau.

She was born on Feb. 22, 1947 in Perkins, Missouri to Richard and Juanita Elfrank Irwin. She married Hank Gilliland on April 10, 2010 and he survives of the home.

Donna was a retired LPN for Chaffee General Hospital. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her loving husband, Hank Gilliland; two sons, Larry (Cindy) Chasteen of Oran; Todd (Amanda) Irwin of Franklin, Indiana; a daughter, Lezli (David) Lincoln of Marble Hill; mother, Juanita Irwin of Perkins; two brothers, Rick (Brenda) Irwin of Cape Girardeau; Derrick (Rosie) Irwin of Oran; a sister, Cindy (Mark) Sutherland of Gainesville, Florida; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with two great-grandchildren on the way; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Irwin.

Friends may call after 10:30 am until time of service on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel, Oran.

Funeral Service will be at 1:00 pm on Friday at the Chapel with Rev. David Thompson officiating. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery in Perkins.
