Dorothy Lee Wolfe

She was born on Jan. 21, 1928 in Delta to the late Wallace and Nettie Montgomery Mansker. She married Alfred “Tom” Ernest Wolfe on May 21, 1946 and he survives of the home.

Dorothy was a retired Librarian for the Chaffee Public Library; she also worked as a clerk for Whitakers-Ace Hardware Chaffee. She was a church secretary and member of the First United Methodist Church in Chaffee. Dorothy was a member of Chaffee Ladies Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 3127 and Cape Girardeau Disable American Veterans Auxiliary, Chapter 16.

She is survived by her loving husband; a son, David Wolfe of Noble, Louisiana; two daughters, Linda (Harold) Seabaugh of Cape Girardeau and Janet (Bill) Raber of Attalla, Alabama; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, four brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call after 1:00 pm until time of service on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Chaffee.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday at the Church in Chaffee with Rev. Gwen Streeter officiating. Burial will be at Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
